Tom is an 11-year-old American boy living in San Francisco in a family with three children. His mother works as a nurse in a local hospital, while his father is a professor of cardiology at the University. From an early age, despite pressure from his parents to study medicine, Tom has been fascinated by the world of aviation. He spends with his uncle, who also shares this passion. Today, Tom is determined to study aerodynamics engineering so he can build his own plane. He believes this is the surest way to realize his ultimate dream: to cross the Atlantic in an electric plane, following in the footsteps of his hero, Charles Lindbergh.
