Sophia and her brother Richard, aged 10 and 7 respectively, are originally from Montana. Both share a passion for space. Sophia is a curious, dreamy girl who spends hours reading books about planets and stars. She also loves watching space documentaries and reading books on space exploration, in secret from her parents who don't understand her passion: she dreams of becoming an astronaut. Richard, on the other hand, is an enthusiastic, outgoing young man who loves building spaceships out of sticks and playing with astronaut figurines. In the future, he hopes to work for the big Hollywood studios and make space cartoons. Before going to sleep, once the lights have gone out, the two children have got into the habit of returning to their bedroom window and gazing at the stars in silence.
