FROM THE ESTATE OF GENERAL LA BAROLIERE -Pair of epaulets for a Major General, Commander of the Imperial Guard, in the style of the foot or mounted grenadiers of the Guard. Pattelette decorated with chevrons bordered by a wolf's tooth frieze. Body embroidered with a flaming pomegranate originally adorned with three silver stars, edged with a triple turn and three rows of "spinach seed" bangs, two of small diameter on the inside, one row of large diameter on the outside. Scarlet bottom sheet and lining. Length: 17 cm. Height: 8 cm. In their shaped box, made of strong cardboard covered with blue paper.
