Gilt brass mounting, multi-prong guard and openwork shell with crisscrossed barrels surmounted by the grenade. Quillon curved downwards, with melon ribs. Palmette counterguard. Straight blade engraved two-thirds of the way up, in acid and gold, with foliage, arms and artillery trophies. Metal-stitched leather scabbard with two large gilded brass fittings. Asymmetrical iron sting. B.E. 20th-century reproduction, with mid-19th-century blade.
