PAIR OF SMALL OFFICER'S FLINTLOCK PISTOLS, ATTRIBUTED TO THE IMPERIAL GUARD INFANTRY. Round, hair-rifled, thunderbolt barrels, stamped on the upper three sides with three Boutet bars and three punches, variant of N Boutet. Plain breech tangs. Brass sights. Lock plates signed "Manufre à Versailles", hallmarked and round-bodied hammers. Brass oval basins. Cut-out and inlaid plain iron fittings. Varnished walnut crossbars with short shafts. Flat oval steel knobs. Steel rods. A.B.E. (Cracked stock, traces of use). Length: 27 cm. Caliber : 15 mm.
