EMPEROR NAPOLEON IER, FULL-LENGTH. Important and rare representation of the Emperor. Ivory sculpture partly dressed in chased silver: hat, collar, pair of epaulets with "N" numerals, neck cross, buttons, Legion of Honor plaque, sleeve facings, retroussis attributes, scepter, belt, sword and pair of spurs. Mounted on a silver embossed and chased openwork base with foliage decoration, decorated with part of a gun barrel in relief and engraved with "N" in ovals around the perimeter. The whole is supported by four caryatids bearing shields, revealing a rock crystal ball in the center, resting on a second base decorated with foliage, military attributes and palmettes, supported by four feet representing Empire eagles.
