Large in-4 brown morocco, smooth spine decorated with two gilt and mosaic bouquets at head and tail and gilt title at center, boards decorated with 4 different gilt and mosaic bouquets at corners and a large central gilt and mosaic medallion decorated with torch, bow and quiver on a background of roses and leaves, gilt head, interior framing of gilt roulette and gilt flowers at corners, cover preserved, in edged slipcase (René Kieffer). Twenty original colored pencil compositions engraved out-of-text and fourteen original drawings g.s.b. in-t. by A. Calbet. Edition of 570 copies (+10 hc); no. 365 of 500 on Arches vellum à la forme. Spine insolate, otherwise a very fine copy.
