Cylinder seal depicting a bun-capped female orante wearing a long robe, held by the hand of a lama goddess placed in front of her, who raises her hand in adoration. In front of the orante and the lama goddess, a female goddess seated on a throne, in a ruffled robe and wearing a tiara with a row of horns. Brown and white agate. Mesopotamia or Levant, Isin-Larsa period, c. 2005-1800 B.C. H: 3 cm (Collection of Jacques de Saint-Ardouin (1899-1956), diplomat, passed on to his nephew Harry de Tascher, then by descent.
