Two color woodcut triptychs, a) "Horikawa Youchi no zu" (Nocturnal Raid on the Horikawa Palace), signed and titled, with publisher's mark for Sanoki, censor's seal for Mera and Watanabe and date seal for 1847 - 1852 and b) "Gishi Youchi no zu" (Nocturnal Raid of the 47 Ronin), signed and titled, with publisher's mark for Sanoki, censor seal for Hama and Magome and date seal for 1852, each mounted triptych of oban formats (oban tate-e), each ~38 x 76 cm, each in good condition with minor traces of age, corners and edges partly rubbed, each neatly framed in the same molding and glazed (each 55 x 91 cm) 0660 Due to the size, weight and glazing, shipping by arrangement only
