Colorless blown glass, cut and partly gilt, conical bowl on a jointed, multiple pseudo-facetted baluster stem with pierced air bubbles, wide disc base with turned rim and raised center with tear-off scar, the bowl surrounded on both sides by scrollwork and tendrils on pelmet-shaped pedestals, eagle soaring towards the sun as a metaphor for the motto of King Frederick William I of Prussia "Non soli cedit" and standing stork in a landscape, medallions each gilt, original, clearly protruding hooded lid with double, raised, double-crowned finial. of Prussia "Non soli cedit" and a standing stork in a landscape, each medallion gilt, original, clearly overhanging hooded lid with double, pseudo-faceted wooden baluster, the lip, lid and foot each with the same surrounding border, goblet h 23 cm, total h 33 cm, Brandenburg or Thuringia ~1730, good condition with minor signs of use, gilding partly rubbed 0611 Ref.Brigitte Klesse 1973, Glass collection Helfried Krug, vol.
