Blown colorless glass, cut and blown, spherical bowl with solid base on jointed nodus shaft, wide, centrally raised disc foot with tear-off scar, the bowl base and the nodus each with eight concentrically pierced air bubbles with central bubble, bowl base, nodi and foot partly multi-faceted, ball frieze below the lip, tear-off scar in the base, original, clearly overhanging hood lid with faceted baluster, faceted all round, ball frieze on the rim of the lid, goblet h 18 cm, h 25 cm overall, Berlin/Zechlin 1740/50, good condition, undamaged 0606 A formally rare Brandenburg lidded goblet with pierced air bubbles from the Zechlin ironworks, a virtually identical lidded goblet in the Helfried Krug collection, cf.: Brigitte Klesse 1973, Glass Collection Helfried Krug, vol.
