Rhonyx 250 DX4 - 1928 Frame number: 735 Engine number: 34519 English-made JAP 250cc 4-stroke single-cylinder engine with side valves, Rhonyx 3-speed gearbox. Nice representation of the golden age of French assemblers with this 250 Rhonyx (Lyon), type DX4. An in-house gearbox is housed in a highly polished chassis, with a resolutely modern look, and a sturdy engine built by English engineer John Alfred Prestwich. Magneto MEA, electric lighting by Maglum. An example that has benefited from an old quality restoration, engine not blocked, to be restarted. French registration, date of first registration: unknown. Following a period of standstill, the bikes, mopeds, scooters and motorcycles in this collection are to be restored or put back into operation before use, and sold without technical inspection.
