§ A VICTORIAN SILVER FOUR-PIECE TEA SERVICE probably by John Harrison, Sheffield 1855, comprising, a teapot, coffee pot, cream jug and two-handled sugar bowl, each chased with fruit and foliage surrounding four oval reserves, each engraved with a rustic scene, raised on ball and claw feet, the teapot and coffee pot each with an applied foliate finial to the cover, the curved spouts clad with leaves. (4) Coffee pot 26cm high, 83 troy ounces gross With non-transferable standard ivory exemption declaration number LDXVR64X The marks on each piece are clear and well-struck. The teapot and coffee pot have ivory insulators to the handle which are a little loose in the sockets. The cream jug's leaf-form thumbpiece has a small split. There is some age-related surface wear, but it is generally in good condition.
