A PAIR OF EARLY 19TH CENTURY FRENCH SILVER-GILT FIVE-LIGHT CANDELABRA by Jean-Baptiste-Claude Odiot, Paris, one base 1809-19, remainder 1819-38, e ach on a spreading circular base with a baluster stem and campana form-socket, all with stiff-leaf borders, the detachable leaf-capped scroll branches each terminating in a socket of Roman lamp form with a detachable nozzle, with a similar central light, cast and chased with bands of beaded, laurel foliage and berried ivy, marked on bases, branches and nozzles.
