A MID-18TH CENTURY DUTCH SILVER TEAPOT by Casparus Jansonius, Haarlem, c.1750, o f pyriform shape, chased with lambrequin, acanthus and shells, the hinged, domed lid surmounted by an urn finial, the lid similarly decorated, the curved panelled spout with opposite a scroll wooden handle pinned to sockets. 14.5cm high, 9 troy ounces gross Marked on the underside. Engraved with a crest. There is surface wear and some old solder repairs.
