Polychrome and gilded terracotta. Small-format sculptures made in fired baroque were frequent in the plastic arts of the Andalusian Baroque schools. This type of format was very appropriate when approXimating the distance between the believer and the referring object, enhancing spiritual communication through prayer, recitation or invocation. Great sculptors of recognized prestige worked on this type of works such as José Risueño or Luisa Roldán, "La Roldana". Measurements: 25.5 cm. Size.
