Description

Pair of armchairs in beech and natural walnut. The rectangular-shaped backrests are supported by cuffed arms with molding connections. They are supported by molded and fluted brackets. The trapezoidal seat receives a molded belt with a heel and rests on a turned fluted base, with a grooved front. Stamped on the front crosspieces by P. GERARD. Parisian work of the Louis XVI period. Height : 86 cm. Depth : 48 cm. Width : 58 cm. Nota bene : Restitutions for a seat at the bottom of the legs, seats previously painted. GERARD Ponce was awarded the title of Master in Paris on May 13, 1778.
