A French Art Deco diamond single clip brooch, the tapering brooch pavé set throughout with graduating old European diamonds, with a central line of trapeze cut diamonds in rub-over settings. The surmount with pavé old cut diamonds between arched channel lines of baguette diamonds. An openwork hinged back with a floral motif. French poinçon for platinum on mount, and French poincon for 18ct gold on hinge spring; unidentified maker's mark. In a case by Asprey, 166 Bond Street, London. 15.74g Condition Report: A finely crafted piece with intricate blackholing. Diamonds well matched, bright and lively; mostly VS with a few SI. Combined diamond weight approximately 2.50ct.
