An Edwardian demantoid garnet, ruby, sapphire, and diamond Harem ring, c.1905, two bands with a central mixed cut sapphire and a mixed cut ruby at each end, crimp set to rose gold collets, with rose cut diamonds between, all set in silver, and two bands with demantoid garnets and diamonds, all held with a shank bank. Tested as approximately 15ct gold and silver, the shank band as 9ct gold. Head 19.10mm x 10.20mm, 4.23g. Ring size L (leading edge) Buying this gemstone ring at auction could save up to 0.42 tonnes of CO2e compared to buying new. Condition Report: Gemstones bright and lively. Scratches and marks consistent with its age. Substantial abrasion to the facets and facet edges of the garnets. Some wear between the bands and the collets. Very tarnished.
