Chamba crest featuring a buffalo head with almost joined horns, the head animated by short lateral ears and a network of ornamental stripes. The open snout resembles the jaws of a crocodile, allowing the wearer to see. A raffia costume completely concealed it. Height: 39 cm - Length: 88 cm This type of mask symbolized the lively, almost brutal force of the bush, and the mistrust and fear it arouses.
