MOSQUE LAMP in openwork brass with silver inlay, in the form of a dome decorated with roundels featuring geometric and calligraphic motifs, and a discoidal base with ten cylindrical receptacles for glass tubes. With its suspension chain and six tinted and painted glass cups. (One bucket damaged, top floral motif missing). Syria or Egypt, late 19th century.
