Description
MINIATURE CORAN AMULET BOX octagonal shape, with chased fleuron decoration and animated cartouches with suras, fitted with a closing system and two small handles. The underside is decorated with a blossoming flower. With octagonal leaves of miniature printed Koran. (The closing hook is missing). Probably Iran, late 19th century. A MINIATURE OCTAGONAL QUR'AN BOX AND COVER WITH A PRINTED QUR'AN, PROBABLY IRAN, LATE 19TH CENTURY. GROSS WEIGHT: 42 g - HEIGHT. 1,2 CM (1/2 IN.) - DIAM. 4,3 CM (1 11/16 IN.)
