Letter concerning the adopted daughter of Louis XVI's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antoine de Lessart, who fell victim to the massacres of September 1792. He asks his correspondent to come to the aid of this young lady, in need since these sad events. We enclose a second LAS from the same source: another request for help for an unfortunate member of his entourage. one page in-4, May 4, 1826.
