The stanzas of L'Adieu du pécheur aux vanitez occupy 36 pages and are followed by the tragedy of Saul, the Discourse on the Death and Passion of the Savior of the World and mélanges et autres œuvres saintes. Father Moysson was principal of the humanities college in Valence. Jean Roux's work, which occupies six pages, is a poem celebrating the fountains of Valence, given as a gift to the county bishop.
