Standing apostle
Wood, carved in the round, only cursorily worked through on the back. Remains of an older colored version. Depiction of an apostle with a book and disc-shaped nimbus, designed for an austere front view. Presumably from a series of apostles from a multi-figure carved altarpiece.
Right hand and parts of the nimbus lost. Losses due to worm damage on the reverse. Bumps. Mounted on a wooden base. Height 29.5 cm (without base).
