Meissen, mid-19th century, the model probably by Johann Joachim Kaendler, the arms St. Petersburg, Lomonosov manufactory, before 2005. The magnificent large candelabra was probably originally a model by Kaendler from the years before the Seven Years' War, which was only preserved in fragments. The owner had the object completed at the Lomonosov manufactory. In the 1850s, Ernst August Leuteritz (1818 - 1893) began to rework older models of tableware, vases and candelabras and offer them for sale again. These included this candelabra with the model number 1216, although the version he designed has different figure applications.
