Constructivist teapot Silver. Cubist body with short spout on a flat base. The handle and the knob of the domed slip lid made of wood. Marks: Hallmark 925, city mark Vicenza, maker's mark Rossi & Arcandi (Vicenza from 1959), date stamp 1993, signet K. Malewitsch, MADE IN ITALY, numbering XXIII / L. Sales stamp cleto munari. H 18; W 25.5; D 9.5 cm, weight 930 g. Vicenza, the design Kasimir Malevich, 1923, execution 1993. The teapot follows a design by Kasimir Malevich for a tea service, which was realized by the Leningrad State Porcelain Manufactory in the 1920s. The Italian manufacturer Rossi & Arcandi received the license for this limited edition of 50 pieces in sterling silver.
