Augsburg teapot Silver. Pear-shaped body on a flat base with a curved spout and wooden handle. The wall and the domed hinged lid with turned features; engraved monogram "G.v.d.L." under a baronial crown on the front. Marks: BZ Augsburg for 1747 - 1749, MZ Salomon Dreyer (1735 - 1762, Seling no. 2000, 2263), tremolier engraving. H 13 cm, weight 303 g. Augsburg, Salomon Dreyer, 1747 - 1749. Works by Dreyer for the Danish court are preserved in the Rosenborg Palace collection and in Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen, cf. Seling 2007, no. 2263 a and b. Provenance Private collection, Rhineland.

950 thousandths silver pear-shaped coffee pot (1809-1819) set on a flat base, the plain body features two numerals, the spout is highlighted with channels, the hinged lid is hemmed with a frieze of water leaves, the turned and blackened wood side grip.
