An important Renaissance mug from the Margarete Oppenheim Collection Silver, partially gilded. On three cherub feet, a narrow stand ring with diamond bar frieze. The almost cylindrical body with circumferential profiled bands and a smooth, slightly flared lip rim. The wall with engraved Renaissance portraits in three round reserves. Unmarked. H 7.8 cm, weight 160 g. Probably South German, mid-16th century. We have an amicable agreement with the heirs of Margarete Oppenheim.
