Description
Historicism demiparure with diamond roses 18 ct rose gold. Three-piece set, consisting of a bangle, pendant brooch and pair of earrings in a historicizing style. Oval hinged band bangle, the top worked àjour with dense volute scrolls and an applied openwork center clasp, set with small flat diamond roses and three large foil-set diamonds in a Dutch rose cut (round center stone ca. 8.15 x 8 mm). The earrings with hoop earrings and two-part pendant set with diamond roses and two large, round, foiled, Dutch rose-cut diamonds (largest stone diameter approx. 8.53 mm). Pendant brooch with meander-shaped frame accentuated with floral relief, set with small diamond roses and three large round foiled diamonds in Dutch rose cut (center stone 7.90 x 7.66 mm), detachable pendant loop. Not stamped. Originally in four parts, ring lost. Hoop diameter 4.5 x 5.5 cm. Brooch H 7.5 cm. Earrings H 4.5 cm. Total weight 80.95 g. In the original shaped case "Sunol (?) Barcelona". Barcelona, circa 1880/90.
