(1572). CLEMENT OF ALEXANDRIA. OPERA OMNIA. Paris, Sebastien Nivelle, 1572. In-folio of [8]-252 (mal chiffr. 241) leaves-[54] pages, red morocco, with gilt spandrels and central motif in azure irons, gilt edges (period binding). The 2-column text is translated by Gentian Hervet, a scholar from Orléans (1499-1584). Small stain on 2 leaves, dull corners, missing headpieces, window at top of title not missing, wide margins. Handwritten bookplate P. Binet, stamp on title. (USTC 170075).
