First edition of Thucydides printed by the Estienne family, and also the first to include the Greek text accompanied by the Latin version. The latter was provided by Laurent Valla and revised by Estienne, who also corrected and clarified the text; the latter also compares some passages in Valla's translation with the French version by Claude de Seyssel.
