The title, printed in red and black, is beautifully framed and followed by a woodcut showing a master in his pulpit teaching his pupils, and a large woodcut showing a BEAUTIFUL EQUESTRIAL PORTRAIT OF ALEXANDER THE GREAT IN ARMOR, BRANDISHING HIS SWORD. The text is embellished with several sets of large, handsome initials on a black background. Restored binding with new spine, lining and endpapers.
