(1520). MAMERT (Claudian). DE STATU ANIMAE LIBRI TRES. Basel, Adam Petri for Ludwig Hornken and Gottfried Hitorp, February 1520. In-4° of 196-[3]-1bl. pages, calf, cold framing on the boards (period binding). De Statu Animae (written in the 5th century) was one of the classics of psychology throughout the Middle Ages. A fine Basel printing, with the title set in a handsome, wide frame and containing several large, animated initials, all attributable to Hans Holbein the Younger.
