In-folio of [12]-243 leaves, brown calf, ornate ribbed spine (17th century binding). First edition of this collection of moral and philosophical treatises composed of extracts borrowed from thirty theologians listed on the verso of the title. The preface leaves no doubt that Badius was the author. Beautiful title frame, text on 2 columns, marginal wetness on first few leaves, a few soiled pages. Binding damaged, stamps (Renouard, Badius, II, 25) (USTC 145171).
