(1516). DURAND (Guillaume). RATIONALE DIVINORUM OFFICIORUM Lyon, Laurent Hylaire, Jacques Huguetan, December 12, 1516. In-4° of [3]-188-[1] leaves, half brown basane, spine ribbed and decorated (modern binding). The Rationale Diuinorum officiorum by Guillaume Durand (1230-1296), bishop of Mende, is one of the most important religious writings of the Middle Ages, and undoubtedly the most widely read. It was one of the first printed books. Lyon printing on 2 columns. Restoration to last leaf without loss of text, minor marginal galling. Circles, good copy. (USTC 155306).
