(1516). CICERON. TUSCULANARUM QUESTIONUM LIBER V. Venice, Augustino Zanni de Portesio, February 15, 1516. In-folio of [6]-124 leaves, antique muted boards. Edition by Lucas Panætius Olchinensis with commentaries by Philippe Béroalde and Omnibonus Leonicenus Vicentini, printed in the year the Doges of Venice invented the first ghetto in history. Title printed in red and black, illustrated with a large vignette of Saint Bartholomew. The text contains 5 woodcuts (85 x 85 mm) at the head of the chapters, showing sages philosophizing. Some darkened quires, rings. (Sanders, 1984) (Adams C, 1800).
