Extremely rare edition, printed in small Gothic type at 32 lines per page. It was executed for the Paris bookseller Denis Roce, whose typographic mark is found on the title with his beautiful motto "Alaventure Tout Vient A Point Qui Peut Attendre". The text is adorned with 2 large woodcuts and several small woodcuts at the head of each chapter, often repeated. A fine copy, with a well-executed pastiche binding. (ISTC, ib00508000).
