Douglas Swan (1930 New Britain, Connecticut - Bonn 2000), "Variations on the Violin from Henri Mattisse". Image edges with surrounding textile adhesive tape, with small adhesive residues in places. Slightly dusty. Occasional small yellowish spots lower right (B side), overall in good condition. Oil on canvas (2 parts). 1994. Each approx. 100 x 100 cm. Each signed, dated, titled and inscribed "A side" and "B side" verso on canvas. Provenance: Private collection, North Rhine-Westphalia. Taxation: Differential taxation (VAT: Margin Scheme).
