Iván Navarro

Iván Navarro (1972 Santiago de Chile), Blue Electric Chair. Two short fluorescent tubes and a starter are defective on the side wings of the chair. Some of the corresponding sockets are slightly cracked. The adhesive foil of the voltage transformer has come loose in places, but does not affect its function. Despite the missing fluorescent tubes, the chair is fully functional. Replacement bulbs can be supplied. Can be a sought-after object, usually traded in the 6-digit range, for hobbyists and art collectors. Blue fluorescent tubes, lacquer on aluminum and electrical fixture. (2004).
