Emil Nolde (1867 Nolde - Seebüll 1956), Eva. Slightly browned due to light-staining, slightly stained and creased. Small creases in the image and superficial scratches to the right of the head. Margins with paper creases and partially backed tears, sheet edges bumped, some small losses and superficial paper thinning. Otherwise good overall. The sitter Alice Clausen from Copenhagen worked as a housemaid for the Nolde family in the fisherman's house on Alsen in the summer months of 1906 and 1907. Schiefler/Mosel/Urban 7 II (of II). Etching with light plate tone on firm, chamois-colored wove paper. (1923). Approx. 48 x 30.5 cm (sheet size approx. 60 x 42 cm). One of at least 9 copies. Signed lower right. With the barely legible signature of the printer Otto Felsing lower left. Taxation: Taxed on the difference plus 7% (VAT: Margin Scheme).
