Lovis Corinth (1858 Tapiau/East Prussia - Zandvoort 1925), Recto: Hands with cat - Verso: Cat study. Slightly browned, light stains, occasional small handling creases. Sheet edges slightly bumped, minimal creases to corners. Browning from old mounting tape and minor paper abrasion on verso. Overall in good condition. Pencil on light gray wove paper. (ca. 1919). Approx. 25.5 x 36 cm. Provenance: Estate of the artist, with the stamp "Atelier Lovis Corinth" and the signature of Thomas Corinth, the artist's son; Private collection, Hesse.
