Karl Friedrich Brust (1897 Frankfurt/Main - Munich 1960), couple (girl with flowered hat and man with violin). Slightly soiled and partly slightly rubbed surface. Craquelure, partly with slight foxing. Small canvas dent lower right with minimal loss of color. Image edges slightly rubbed due to framing. Overall in good condition. Verso on stretcher with handwritten artist's address, various numberings and labels. The work is listed in the estate card index compiled by the widow Wiltrud Brust under the no. "ÖA 30" (verso on the stretcher with handwritten numbered label). Oil on canvas. 1950. ca. 141 x 110 cm. Signed and dated lower left. Provenance: Private collection, Hesse, directly from the artist's family. Taxation: Differential taxation (VAT: Margin Scheme).
