Max Beckmann (1884 Leipzig - New York 1950), Society.
Slight brownish discoloration lower left and right, partly extending into the image, otherwise only isolated tiny stains. Minor handling creases, slight creases to the margins, small closed tear to the right edge. Mounted verso at the upper corners, slightly lighter there and faintly pressing through. Otherwise in good overall condition.
Inscribed "B-6189" verso, probably by an unknown hand.
Etching with drypoint on chamois-colored wove paper by Van Gelder Zonen. (1915). Approx. 26 x 32 cm (sheet size approx. 31.5 x 50.5 cm). One of approx. 30 copies of the 2nd edition from approx. 1920. Signed lower right, inscribed "2. Zustand" lower left.
