ATEF CROWN FEATHER IN BRONZE Egyptian art, Late Period, 664-332 B.C. Element of an Osirid headdress, probably from a statue of the god, consisting of a striated ostrich feather fitted with tenons for attachment, resting on a twisted ram's horn topped with an uraeus topped by a solar disk. The upright snake is hollowed out with cavities formerly inlaid with colored elements. Green patina. Height Height : 12.5 cm Provenance: Former private collection from the south of France, acquired on the French art market in the 1960s. French private collection, acquired from previous owner, 2014
