Model 1833 boarding sword. Black-painted iron mounting (alterations). Shell guard. Flat-backed curved blade engraved "Manufre Rle de Châtellerault Janvier 1842", with hollow sides engraved with vertical anchors. Black leather scabbard with two brass fittings and brown leather drawstring. Length: 84.5 cm. A.B.E.
