KEYSTONE - DANCE "Dancing couple at the Laban dance school in Berlin, where, as in music, each movement is governed by a note", 1927. Rudolf Laban founded the Berlin Choreographic Institute in 1927. In 1928, he published Kinetographie Laban, proposing a notation system for primary dance movements, later called Labanotation. Photograph.
