KOBILCA IVANA (1861 - 1926) (Slovenia) oil painting on canvas : "Pipe Smoking Man" - 50 x 40.7 monogrammed "IK.Tr" / attributed to This work is probably a youthful work (with a monogram, which is different from that on his later works). The letters "Tr" is probably an abbreviation of the town name "Trbovlje" on the train route from Trieste to Vienna, where Kobilca exhibited and frequented the Academy in 1879.
