Meissen view cup Saxon Switzerland Small pale underglaze blue sword marks 1st half 19th century, embossed numbers, green brush number Roman I and II as well as numbers 35 and 42, twelve-sided bell shape with pointed handle, relief "pressed glass pattern" in Gothic style, fine polychrome overglaze painting in the three reserves as a landscape depiction with hilltop castle and hikers, flanked by a rock formation with bridge and hut respectively, as well as rich gold bronze decoration. Each flanked by a rock formation with bridge and hut respectively, and rich gilt bronze and bright gold decoration, the matching saucer with corresponding decoration in a finely painted floral bouquet in the centre, the gilding rubbed in places, otherwise in good condition, h 7 cm overall.
