View Cup Mountain Landscape with Castle probably Ludwigsburg porcelain manufactory, 1820/30s, unmarked, painted signature Tronner A Stuttgart (probably Johann Anton Tronner), cylindrical cup with flaring lip rim and high rosette handle, richly decorated with a gold-etched rectangular cartouche with veduta in fine polychrome overglaze painting on the front, Landscape panorama with a view along a mountain river to a castle above a settlement, the reverse with gold-engraved ornamental borders and burgundy partial ground as well as wide gold rims and almost complete gilding on the inside, matching saucer with corresponding decoration and central dedication "Mit Kindlicher Liebe zum 18. Novbr: gewidmet." (Dedicated with childlike love to the 18th century), the ground with age-related colour flaking in places, the gilding slightly rubbed and the saucer with minimal expert restoration to the rim, h 9.5 cm overall.
